Last year the Broncos of Fayetteville State opened up the season at home with a double overtime loss ( 41 - 34 ) to the Braves of UNC Pembroke.
The Broncos would go on to finish 8 - 4 Overall, 6 - 1 Conference and end with a CIAA Championship and NCAA D-II Playoff Berth.
This year, the Broncoshave been selcected to and look to repeat as CIAA Champions when they open the season on the road in Pembroke in the 2d Annual Two Rivers Classic taking on the Braves of UNC Pembroke.
Kickoff is scheduled for September 4th, 2010 @ 6pm on the Campus of UNC Pembroke.
